Practical experience. Personal care. · 02 / Our story

Family values. Applied.

Building knowledge is only part of the job. Understanding the person makes the difference.

Parsons Home Projects brings together 30 years of family building values and experience in disability and community support.

After learning carpentry from his dad and working in disability care and case management, Joel now focuses on accessible home renovations.

We work with clients, occupational therapists, families, carers and support providers to create safer, more independent homes.

Our goal is simple: homes that are easy to live in and still feel like home.

A few things you might be wondering

Let's make things clearer.

Can we stay at home during the renovation?

Often, yes. We discuss the scope of the work, access, safety and day to day arrangements before starting.

Can you work with my occupational therapist?

Yes. We can work alongside your OT and other support people to understand your needs and agreed recommendations.

Do you work with NDIS and aged care supports?

We can coordinate with relevant NDIS and aged care support teams where required. Funding eligibility and approvals are determined by the relevant program.

How much does the first visit cost?

The initial home visit and quote are free and without obligation. We use the visit to discuss your goals and assess the space.

What is confirmed before work starts?

The project scope, price, allowances and schedule should be clearly documented. Applicable contracts, permits, engineering and domestic building insurance need to be addressed before the relevant work begins. Requirements depend on the proposed work.

Which areas do you cover?

We work across Melbourne's outer east and surrounding suburbs. Contact us to discuss your address.

Your next chapter starts at home

Let's talk about what you need.

No pressure. No obligation. Just a conversation about making your home work better for you.
